6/24/18 @ 4PM-5:45PM African Drum Theatre and Movement Workshop @ Fayette Opera House.  BI-OKOTO Drum and Dance Theatre comes from Cincinnati to take you on a musical tour of Africa!  You must sign-up in advance.  Interactive journey from Fayette to West Africa where the rich culture is revealed through dance styles and joy and excitement to enhance creative thinking skills and physical fitness.  What a great first event for "Libraries Rock!"  Only the first 50 to sign up can attend and you must sign-up in advance.  Call 563-425-3344.

7/2/18 @ 9AM-3PM Smart Art for Kindergarten & 1st Graders @ Klocks Island Park in Fayette.  Campers will participate in a day full of crafty science experiments with an artsy outcome.  Cost is $10 (bring a sack lunch) and the registration form and fee are due one week before camp and payable to Fayette County Extension.  For more information, contact 563-425-3331.  (Grade level reflects the grade completed in May of 2018).  Minimum of 8 per camp.

7/3/18 @ 11AM-12PM "Sound Science" @ Fayette Community Library.  The Grout Museum brings us demonstrations of sounds, how they are created, and how we are able to hear them.  Some sounds are loud and some are quiet -why?  Dogs hear dog whistles but we don't -why?  Presenters from the Grout Museum will be answering these questions and many more as they tell us about the Science of Sound.
