PUBLIC NOTICE

It is the intention of the Fayette City Council to appoint a replacement to fill a vacancy on the Fayette City Council at the regular city council meeting on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 6:00 P.M. in the Community Room located at the Fayette Community Library (104 W. State Street, please use back door). Linda Tenney resigned as a Fayette City Council member because she will be moving out of the city of Fayette. City of Fayette residents have the right to request a special election by filing a petition. The petition must be filed with the City Administrator/Clerk requesting an election and have a minimum of 19 signatures from city of Fayette residents.
