STATE OF PUBLIC HEALTH DISASTER EMERGENCY & PROCLAMATION

Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds issued a State of Public Health Disaster Emergency today which indicates all restaurants and bars are closed to the general public except for carry-outs, drive-throughs or deliveries. It also indicates all gatherings and events (such as parades, festivals, fundraisers, or community, social, religious, recreational, leisure and sporting gatherings/events)  of more than 10 people are prohibited. Fayette Mayor Andrew Wenthe has signed a proclamation today determining a state of emergency or public danger exists.  Click here to read the Proclamation.
